Black Entrepreneurs,Β IΒ became a speaker after writing my first book in 2016.
I shared my story with as many people who needed to hear it; men and women, Black churches, women groups, conferences, retreats, online summits, webinars, and workshops.
I wanted to honor God and help others with my testimony.
At the same time, I wanted to respect the people who were involved in my story and not offend or cause them pain.
Before finishing my book and speaking, I was afraid what would happen at my job or if my story would harm my clients if they found out.
Since I still had a 9-5 while working my business, I felt overwhelm not being in the place to be completely free to do as I please.

- I wasn’t ready
- I wasn’t good enough
- No one would listen
- I didn’t have enough followers
- I didn’t have enough people on my email list
But deep down inside..
- I wanted to build on my own success
- I wanted to share my strategies that helped me overcome challenges in my life
- I wanted to speak to groups, do workshops, host my own retreats
- And do this with my own books, journals, and materials
- And one day retire from working for someone else
- So I could inspire and empower other Black people
- While building generational wealth for my family and leaving a legacy for my community
Below are testimonials from attendees at some of my past speaking events with my books.
You can have many testimonials too from attendees who received a breakthrough from hearing you speak and life changing story.
