About Black Family Business with
My Story
Never judge a book by its cover. Everyone has a story.... There once was a Black woman named Alicia Beatrice who found herself with a dream to build a legacy for her family until one day I had a breakthrough. So in 2010 I started my first online consulting business while a stay-at-home mom. Then I decided to break the silence and write my first book to honor God and share my transformational story to inspire other Black women to heal their mind, body and Spirit through love and forgiveness.
Black Family Business was born out of this work. This movement is more than just a story about a Black mother starting a business to have financial freedom so she can live out her wildest dreams and build a legacy for her family. This is an empowering community where you get holistic support and find your voice while you evolve. It's God's hand at work in Black families and communities.
Meet Alicia Beatrice
Alicia’s relentless devotion to racial equity, social justice, and human rights issues emerged from my evolution of kicking generational trauma to the curb. My two sons are my saving grace and why I started my business. I have published several books on mental health and spirituality: From Exile to EMBRACE: 7 Secrets to Lead a Happier Life Through Love and Forgiveness; From Exile to EMBRACE: Confessions of Successful Women Leaders and Crazy Confessions: Defeat Depression, Dodge Suicide and Dare to Live.
With a heart for women and children, I established Alicia Beatrice Ministries in 2017 to support the philanthropic work of organizations and communities.
With a background as a licensed mental health expert and self-help book specialist, I am equipped to support you with finishing your book for your business and honor God.
In my spare time, I enjoys time with God, my 2 sons, singing, live music and good food.
