Hello, Hello, Hello.

It’s Alicia B. your Soulful Sister Searching, helping Black and Brown women move from isolation and shame to living their wildest dreams in their life and business.

Checking in with you.

I wanted to offer another word of encouragement as we near the end of the year.

How do you feel in your journey to becoming your best self?

You may feel like we’re alone, isolated or stuck in a dark place or circumstance that you’re dealing with.

You may feel like there is no one you can trust.

You may feel like no one understands what you’re going through.

You are not alone.

There are other people who have experienced what you have been through.

I think that we get stuck inside our heads and our heart space when we think the world is going to come to an end in those very moments.

I can recall days when I felt that way being isolated and how that spiraled me into a depression.

It caused me to feel like I was alone and that other people didn’t understand what I was going through.

I have met men and women that have experienced pain and suffering.

These men and women are successful in their life and business.

Some are moving forward into a new relationship or starting to live and love again.

So I learned that I wasn’t the only one.

When we are in those moments that’s what we tell ourselves and that’s what we feel.

It may be an intense, dark feeling that you are going through or have been through and you think you’re alone in your journey.

Or you think you can’t trust anyone or no one understands.

When everyone has experienced some form of pain and suffering or some other traumatic experience.

I wanted to share some feedback with some of the women I’ve been able to work with.

This is what they have said and I want to give them a shout out as well because they are doing great things in their life and their business.

I want to send positive vibes to them as well.

Tia says: “you have already given me back my life and that was only on page 3!!!!  I am reading my FREE copy of the ‎Forgiveness Journal. You have already given me back my life and that was only on page 3!!!! I’ve waited my whole entire adult life for your transparency, edification, and abundance of illumination into self!
I never thought someone could understand my past hurts, mistakes, and tragedies but you have definitely diagnosed me and given me a prescription to my deliverance through this book!
Thank you for allowing God to use you in such a prolific way.”

Thank you for that feedback. That was very encouraging.

This is Denise’s testimonial. She’s a self care and wellness coach. “First, I want to say the entire book is awesome. It is very easy to read and  gives you practical application. The part of the book that really has personally helped me is EMBRACE Your Emotions. I am a very sensitive person so I feel my emotions and notice them but the one thing I have had a hard time with is VOICING my emotions.

And next is Monica, “From Exile to EMBRACE has given me courage to face my everyday struggles and fears head on.  I know that I’m not alone in the struggles that I go through.  I have a new outlook on how I perceive things.

They know they are not alone.

You’re not alone in the struggles that you are going through.

You matter and your story matters.

The next testimonial and feedback is from Brandalyn. She is author, screenwriter and speaker. “Alicia, this is an excellent book. You are going to touch and improve many lives. A purchase I’ll never forget. Mental illness and recovery are two crucial elements.  This is a shorter literary piece to help. EVERYONE should have this mini manual to refer to. Your candid nature was enjoyable and your writing almost flawless.
Two thumbs up from me.”

These life stories and experiences are only redefining moments.

It’s all apart of the process of becoming your best self.

And last but certainly not least, the feedback and testimonial I have is from Stella, life coach and speaker. She says: “From Exile to EMBRACE has helped me to really embrace my story. The love for me and to recognize my behaviors for what they are and what that means. To understand that a key issue for me was/is setting boundaries. I’ve read this book twice. I love the way it’s put together. Alicia is an extraordinary young woman. She has shared her story in a way that is so amazing. It so easily brought my thoughts out and onto a page. Things I’d begin to realize she helped me to understand and name.  And although it’s her story she makes it your story.  I’m actually gaining more insight of myself and how this has really helped me. Wow. Thank you so much for sharing Alicia B. You are truly amazing. Keep God’s light shining bright!”

We all have a story and we are not alone on our journey to becoming our best self because that is what we were born to do.

These moments that you have experienced is apart of the path and process so that you can get to that point of your greatness.

Even in the darkness or shadow, you can honor God by being honest, speaking your truth, being brave and loving yourself just as you are.

As we embark on a new season and new year remember you are not alone.

You matter.

Your journey matters.

I am because we are.
